I Need My Teachers To Learn

Here is a video that I saw while looking through some of the blogs of teachers on Lee Kolbert’s Voicethread. It explains how teachers should adapt in order to help their students. It reflects the main purpose of this class. I found it really interesting. Watch it and let me know what you think!

    Hi Danielle!

I really liked this video that you posted. I wonder when this will actually happen! For the most part it seems that if classrooms arn’t crossing over they are being pressured to but my mentorship class can’t use various Web 2.0 software yet. They can’t even upload to YouTube and all the restrictions in other area limits me to small Micky Mouse stuff to do with them. In this case though it is not the teachers…it is the school! Good Post. Thanks!

Thanks Shari! I thought it was very appropriate for this class. It shows how students are trying to adapt and schools won’t always let them. It must be hard trying to work with a mentorship class when you’re limited to your resources. What kind of things have you been doing with them?
